The GPM PUMPS Pulverizers are packaged with standard solid-state UL and NEC approved PLC based controllers for optimum process capability and monitoring. Visual display of grinder jams and motor overloads are shown on the PLC readout along with "How To" instructions for the operator to correct the problem. Process monitoring such as total power on time, run time, and the number of motor and grinder overloads are offered and readouts can easily be reset as needed. The Pulverizer automatically resets itself after a power outage and in the case of grinder jam, the unit's automatic reversing feature will briefly attempt to clear the obstruction in reverse, and then switch to normal forward operation. A manual reversing mode will aid the operator when more stubborn objects become entangles in the grinder. The controller is packaged in a NEMA 4X FRP enclosure for waterproof protection and long life. Optional enclosures are available to meet customer requirements.
