The bearings are special double sealed, oversized Conrad type bearings that feature a unique heavy duty solid lube
pack which makes the bearing impervious to water and grit. This bearing is also protected by our special double seal
system.
This exclusive double seal consists of:
- Outer seals are stainless steel vs. fluorocarbon intermeshed labyrinth fingers that create a tortuous path preventing
the intrusion of small particles of solids or grit.
- Inner seals are high-pressure lip seals designed to prevent water leakage and bearing contamination. A grease
barrier between these two seals enhances bearing protection even further.
This effective sealing system is rated up to 90 PSI by the manufacturer and provides impressive, simple and
economical service life.
